On Wednesday 18 December e-Learning held a graduation for eighteen students.
Although many choose to do the 10-week course to get a free computer and internet, it is not long before they realise that the learning they can access is worth so much more for both themselves and their families.
Some shared stories of transforming their thinking and identity as they progressed through the course. As they told their story, the new-found passion for learning and potential poured out.
Some have found work already and others are looking to further education or training, and some have started to help their children extend their learning.
It is obvious that for these families, this Christmas and New Year will be much more than just presents and New Year’s resolutions.
